What's here For You?
The Web is a great resource as long as you don't have to spend hours tracking down the information you need.
This site offers basic information in three areas that are often searched and likely to contain what you want.
Travel information including popular destination reviews, airline and surface travel resources, lodging resources and reviews and frankly biased opinions on all of it.
Book information including reviews of books, old and new, resources for buying, mooching or discussing books, and more biased opinions.
Movie information including two line reviews, additional resources for following up if you wish and yet more biased opinions.
Opinions including a blog on this site where people can spout off on anything they want and that includes me. It's public for now but eventually will be private so as to not offend those accessing the other three areas.
HOW DOES THIS SITE HELP YOU?
While it's going to take time to build the data base, this site will provide links to resources that I've found provide the best information and help you find the best value.
For instance, if you are a book reader rather than a collector, you will most likely be happy with a used book. But if you are building a library or using books as gifts, you more than likely want to buy new books. If you are a collector, you want to be able to find specific titles in your area of interest.
If you are planning on going out to a movie theater, your criteria is most likely more rigid than if you are renting a movie or deciding whether or not to watch it on TV.
Travel is the toughest area to get a handle on. I am able to provide you with not only my guidance and opinions but also those resources I have learned to trust over the years.
